August 1st Draft still EditingMISSION STATEMENT This
is the mission statement of a 14 year old who never quit and who
prayed to be the one,
the first to bring my country's misuse of
technology into the light.
Create, write, direct, produce and film or guide through any visual means,
but particularly with a motion picture camera, story content for *SciReal.
*SciReal, or Science Reality in it's simplest form happens as intransient synchronous information comes together.
The
action can be as simple as deception in geostationary orbit as one
nation's citizens and culture forcibly come into contact with others.
This precipitates the liquidation and sale of all human assets.
The deception: It's the free choice of man to relinquish their freedom.
This has been done many times, in many forms. Nothing is new in art, scarcely new in history.
Yet, something here is different and not all that simple.
SPIRIT OF THE MISSIONTo Stop the Grand Inquisitor in all forms.
The spirit of the mission of SciReal, based one of the most well known parables in literature.
Dostoyevsky's Brothers Karamazov, Pro and Contra, The Grand Inquisitor.
This is only the spirit of the mission not a religious conviction:
Christ is arrested by the Grand Inquisitor, sentenced to an Auto de fe, burned alive.
The Grand Inquisitor explains why to Christ. Man was created a "Rebel". Christ gave them free will to choose
between good and evil. The church has offered a solution to the confusion that choice and freedom have brought.
They offer Peace through miracle, mystery and authority. Man gives up freedom
voluntarily to serve this deception. This allows man to raise himself up to the level of God.
RULES: Because of the unique set of circumstances surrounding
this filmmaker, business as usual is not appropriate. BEFORE THERE WAS A MISSION, THERE WAS A WAR, 20 years passed.Geocities is a research/study website designed to share learning resources with other filmmakers learning alone with little to no budget. The site was mirrored briefly at a Toronto's Cyberfilm and has been linked worldwide as a self learning site.
It was also, a place where I share information on technology abuse and blacklisting. I had a lengthy resume in my 20's in business. Partly from growing up in a family who had a few small but related businesses, a Travel Agency being one, and from a couple of large corporations that hired me. I had a photographic darkroom at 15, worked my way through high school at a corporation - graduating at 16. I started traveling as a professional, internationally at 17.
Most traditional business practices are useless. I often laugh when I get a Wharton MBA newsletter, useless in this era of new technology that most Americans refuse to admit even exists. Business cannot prosper, long term, when in denial of problems that are impeding their prospects. Technology is more a problem than a solution, when the general public does not take the time to understand all the possible implications and the law will not act against the illegal uses.
At the start of Geocities, the 1st screenplay hadn't been written before local efforts to drive me out of a business, I wasn't in yet, began. For years I was followed when going for walks, stopped by law enforcement and systematically harassed at any attempt to engage in competitive business practice of any kind. A member of law enforcement's brother or son had taken my job at the newspaper, after I left. He systematically agreed to write reports about me at any time for any reason. I was warned to never talk to anyone who worked for the paper. Then, they hired my brother who lived with me and called him at our parents house. I was driven into the streets and almost to my death, until I turned around to sue them. The facts involved a homicide at a music concert I photographed as a witness who had been there all day, a gag order against 2 news agencies with local corruption - a Central Florida Sheriff indicted by a grand jury, a mental institute and so many other factors where information many times was reported falsely in electronic records but subject to correction, that this is in another page at this website as a warning to EU citizens, based on experiences with data flow in Europe 15-20 years ago.
Florida Governor Chiles later asked that Florida police department to be investigated by the FDLE, his investigative force. I believe in Satan and believe he's here amongst these people. In 2009, an aging neighbor yelled at me over the fence that everybody believes everything The Ledger says about me. I can genuinely tell you I attempted to move within a few months of leaving that place and didn't even read the paper during my lawsuit, which ended over 15 year ago. This is the type of insanity is created by egocentric violent men who define their own cultures of violence against women with the help of other women.
In 1985 I was attacked by a black man on the premises of this newspaper after a photo I had submitted was selected over his by an editor. We were at a sports competition. Since I don't believe in luck or hope as a photographer, I asked a Judge who she thought would win and positioned myself to anticipate the "shot", which I got. I can evidence this attack with his letter of apology. It was submitted as evidence in my lawsuit of the working conditions for a women in this one department, that worked behind a closed and locked door, at this newspaper. His wife later showed up at work to tell me her husband didn't want to have to compete at work, I should just leave.
This photo department had never hired a women and was totally uncontrolled by management. When I wouldn't sleep with a member of the crew - who was single and a womanizer - after a month of being there, he brought on a younger girl with big boobs. Yes, they actually laughed and talked about why she was being hired and it wasn't her picture of a duck.
Why would anyone put up with these conditions? I had just left law school, the best decision any artist could make, to go to film school. Ran out of money. I won a small contest at this paper just as I was moving home to get any type of job in the arts. I took a small job at the paper that gave me access to a B&W darkroom, C-41 Processing (shooting often with on my own bulk film), small Studio with a Light Kit, and to major entertainment & sports events because of their location. My work was published frequently in my last year, that enabled me to join Canon Professional Services. Coming out of Ohio State, I already had good printing skills and was beginning to take a serious interest in cinematography, with help from a European emigre professor.
In the first few months I was invited to a party by my then boss, the photo department chief. Whatever respect I had for
the New York Times up until then was gone after that night. From then on I devised ways to cope while building a photo
portfolio in the darkroom, which I did have complete access to all hours of the night and day. Most of that time I was there
alone. Walking into the party I could smell marijuana and found the photo crew smoking weed in the kitchen. It wasn't what
I expected from this highly regarded news chain. When handed a joint I puffed once and passed it on. I have a respiratory condition from birth and can't stand smoke. The minute I had the joint in my mouth the photo chief took my photo. In that moment I realized what I was dealing with and had to assess the risk I was taking by staying there. That wasn't the only surprise at that party. It took place at the home of the circulation manager, who I later found out from court records was close friends with the newspaper Editor. I had been warned to stay away from the Editor, that he was a "scumbag", which of course peaked my interest. He was very drunk. I sat in a room and listened to him. Apparently, there was a photographer in Clearwater working for the now defunct UPI, who took a picture. It was a "pooled" courtroom photo of a stripper showing a judge her backend (ass- like this Editor). This Editor remarked as if this was the greatest photo he had ever seen and wanted this photographer to intern in the photo department in the fall. This was my first time hearing what he had to say and I never forgot it. This Editor has a record at the 10th Circuit court for drunk and disorderly conduct with law enforcement officer and was ordered by the court to get counseling. I've kept copies of all these papers.
This is the heart and integrity of the New York Times news chain as I saw it in those years, 1984-1985. I engaged in quid pro quo sexual harassment to survive the verbal abuse and general degradation of women, which was fierce. I brought the lawsuit against this newspaper pro se and In forma pauperis. At the time I had no car and walked once to file a paper, about 20 miles home. I backpacked through 12 countries to gather evidence that they were engaging in electronic blacklisting, because their threat was they would NEVER let me go anywhere or do anything I wanted to do. Psychos.
Some of the research I found was written in the states but not available publicly anywhere in Central Florida.
The New York Times, I had a Title VII claim against, had threatened me and my family, engaged in what amounted to a slap suit mentality, driving people who would have liked to help, into silence. Growing up in tourism, I've met many egocentric people. I never met anyone who told me if they didn't get what they wanted "they could make things happen" with absolute assurance, until confronted by this news agency. The US government participated in this blacklist. A fact I reported to the United Nations in 1988 after a series of violent events. This Congress, many of the same players are still in Congress including women who bolster a violent patriarchal system, is not interested in ideas that generate business or jobs. They've made continual efforts to drive people into complacency and low pay by "trafficking in information technology" designed to intimidate and initiate violence. CNN was also a part of the report to the United Nations for their role.
In the late 90's I was applying for jobs, attempting to start at the bottom in the film industry. Universal rejected my Vitae (resume) writing me they didn't take "Literary material". The EEOC of the State of California gave me the right to sue - some rights are useless, I threw it away. I haven't even started to write literary material, but this .com is the start.
And the woman who shouted over the fence, like many people who believed everything big business in this area told them
does not own a home. 1 out of 33 homes is in foreclosure here. As a witness to the history of Florida, that is the fault of people who chose not to question or investigate themselves but to trust to corporations and banks to give them their version of the truth.
RULES:
(Draft subject to Revision)
No Time for Business as Usual, because around me Business as Usual is Chaos.
Rebellion, and the freedom to choose between good and
evil are underlying themes in every story. There is peace enough in graveyards.
1) Anti-Heroes only, Heroes are banned, lest we raise man up to the status of God,
and for the screenwriters out there, Journeys are expensive.
Quoting The Brothers Karamazov:
Man, so long as he remains free, has no more constant and agonizing anxiety than find as quickly as possible someone to worship
2) Big names are non-existent, if you have one get rid of it.
Man, so long as he remains free, has no more constant and agonizing anxiety than find as quickly as possible someone to worship
3) Drama is good, kicking ass is better. Ballet 101 prerequisite for hire.
4) Persons with no literary background, need not apply. Read a classic book will you, or some crib notes.
5) Serious artists only. Don't take off that Crown of Thorns yet. Too serious?
I can count on either hand the times I engaged in serious drinking, back in my teens. Never been married, never wanted or had children, celibate most of my life. I attribute that in part to sustaining my energy to continue this fight. I've been studying since I was 14 and have an absolute intolerance for persons without a love of knowledge. Backpacking in Europe I wandered around libraries, in total awe at the literature and art. In law school the first thing I did was set up a darkroom in the bathroom. I never felt the need to experiment with drugs and probably, much like Bill Clinton, I puffed but didn't inhale. But with me it's because I've had breathing problems since birth. I hung out with some very pretty women, when we were younger, drugs were ez to get. None of those women had self esteem low enough to push drugs at me. But here, I've never seen anything like it, southern women are cowards or spoiled babies. They raise generations of women who are victims, drug addicts and people with no respect for talent, because they are not taught to be strong enough to stand up to partriarchal violence. I hear things like be polite, move out of the way, don't raise your voice and all I see is a woman raising the next victim. Yes, there are some nice people, but unfortunately the way technology is being used here I encounter many of the former and not the later. I link this technology and these patriachal obsessions, particularly by well known child activists, directly to many cases of children victims in this state. It enrages me to have to even write this paragraph because I was hazed for being a virgin into my late 20's, in part because women close to me became messed up mentally after having abortions. Then, I moved to the South, the hell zone - pig central. I'm too f---ing arrogant to spend my time doing drugs or drinking, when everyone else was partying, I was studying alone. Getting out of my own way won't involve what most people would expect.
6) Rule six is a hard and fast rule, this is Not a Family Friendly studio. I'm occasionally family friendly, but insanity has
to stop somewhere. It stops here. When individuals around you are being manipulated, you can't work to your creative capacity, a byproduct of that is mediocrity. In an atmosphere of State sponsored mediocrity anyone who attempts anything creative or out of the ordinary is subject to suspicion.
The first thing you learn when you come under daily surveillance from the press is, everybody is willing to lie to protect themselves. Some of the people closest to me are addicts and others were supporting addicts, neither could afford the spotlight of the press. There's the key. I stand alone amongst people
around me in not being afraid of scrutiny the press puts on me, as long as it is done fairly. That is not what they do as a rule when they are about to lose money in a lawsuit. This was a very dirty violent fight, often engaged in covertly by members of the press who I witnessed as alcoholics and drug users. People with these types of habits are more likely to go with the flow and not stand up against corruption. Chances are zero I will ever be willing to just leave it alone and let them engage in defamation that appears to be often continuing. The U.S. Constitution protects the right to privacy in a home, but that is not what has been happening in fact in the last 20 years. This erosion of rights with the use of new technology is partly responsible for the total financial breakdown in the United States, because people no longer feel responsible for their individual behavior when part of a herd mentality. Interestingly the ILO (International Labor Organization, U.N.) has been writing about this herd mentality in the workplace. but talking isn't solving the problems.
*Danish need not apply. Your Country probably already owns my ass in some freak property rights
grab sanctioned by the EU. A commentary on the EU Working Group on the Protection
of Data and so forth, will be published here in August.
Here I go again, working alone ;<). No Unions, No Meetings.
RULES ARE SOMETIMES MEANT TO BE BROKEN.
What happened to just getting a story on film and making some money? Integrated technologies happened.
When people start reacting to the technology instead of to their goals, for instance of making a film, the result is chaos,
interruptions, people who can't perform, film that doesn't get processed. If you thought working in a big Studio system
is hard, try working outside of one when you're under surveillance. There is not time for Business as Usual.
Having written this, I still believe I can make film, my way, or your way if you know how to deal with the issues openly.
